Phantasm Noir - Limited Edition - Premium New Zealand Pinot Noir Powder
Phantasm Noir - a limited edition release premium New Zealand Pinot Noir powder from Phantasm. Sourced from an acclaimed Marlborough winery, we offer two forms of this power - unfermented and fermented. Designed to be used as an addition to bring vibrant color, flavor and subtle Thiol aroma to your beers. Recommended uses include Barelywine, Fruited Sours, Novel IPAs, Stouts, Porters, and Wild Fermented beers.
Fermented or Non-Fermented
For the fermented - the skins were fully fermented, pressed and then we processed them. They have no residual sugar / fermentables.
The Unfermented were pressed (Rose’ wine) and then processed, so they still have some residual (albeit smaller) sugar.
USAGE RATE:
20- 30 grams per gallon (1 to 2 oz per gallon), usually added during active fermentation. Usage rates vary depending on yeast selection, hop selection, and when Phantasm is added. 1-2 pounds per barrel.
No problem adding it to the hot side whirlpool, or conditioning / refermenting the beer on it.
